If anyone of the youth did recalled, i mean, if there is any, on the 22nd of December of the year, as always, which is 3 days before the Mega-commercial celebration of Xmas (no offense), there will be one very important to any living Chinese in the planet known as the Tang-Yuen festival, or known as Dong-Zhi. It's rather not much of a festival but like celebrating a "New Year" for every Chinese on the planet and it's even more important than the ever-commercialized-Chinese-New-Year.

It's something that marks a new year in the Lunar Calender, which everyone in the family members MUST COME BACK as one on the dining table and have the dinner together,

Especially with the Tang-Yuen as one of the dish. I mean, i'm not suprised that there is more percentage of Chinese that doesn't speak their native language as Chinese anymore, but I would be suprise if all of us remember this date. I guess, it's somehow nostalgic, remembering back the old days where Internet does not exists, most of the children does anticipate this date, especially the girls, would wake up in the morning helping their parent, Mum, to prepare the ingredient to cook the foods and so on.
I mean, come on, how many's left of us now spend much time going back to hometown to commomerate this date? I guess, it's time to look back, and see when's the last time you're back.

Family first.
It's not the money or what meal you have that matters at the end, it's the feeling you have all of you are together. Cherish it.
